USAID Partner Capacity Development Program
The Partner Capacity Development Program (PCD) addressed one of Vietnam’s core challenges – how to accelerate growth, innovation, and investment while promoting transparent and effective governance that embraces the diverse ideas and resources of its people. PCD was a cross-cutting program which focused on improving the human and institutional capacity of Vietnamese Non-Governmental-Organizations and the Government of Vietnam’s agencies and ministries across a range of USAID’s priority areas in Vietnam. It worked with these organizations in the areas of economic growth and inclusion, private sector partnerships and innovation, HIV/AIDS, environmental change, illegal wildlife trade, disability and vulnerable populations, education, and environmental remediation.
