During the fellowship, the Elliott School of International Affairs of George Washington University will provide the fellows with four substantive sessions designed to enhance their knowledge of key security issues and aid with their development as successful military officers. The sessions will include: 

• Understanding Washington and how to network in key communities

• The 2022 National Security Strategy and 2022 National Defense Strategy as framing documents for a cadet/midshipmen’s military career 
• Ongoing regional conflicts and how they impact the DoD, the services, and ROTC cadets/midshipmen 

• Future challenges
