Goldman Sachs Global Leaders Program
The 2008/2009 academic year marked the final year of the Goldman Sachs Global Leaders Program (GSGLP) after a successful ten years. To date, 1,050 outstanding undergraduates from 100 participating universities and colleges in 20 countries have been recognized for their academic excellence by being awarded the title of Goldman Sachs Global Leader. Many have gone on to win Rhodes, Truman, Marshall, Gates and Cambridge scholarships and Fulbright Fellowships. They have also made a positive impact on their local communities through the program’s Social Entrepreneurship Fund, and many are already making a mark in their careers in fields ranging from teaching to government to business. The Institute of International Education (IIE) and The Goldman Sachs Foundation are proud of all that has been accomplished through the Goldman Sachs Global Leaders Program, the main result of which has been to support the development of tomorrow’s leaders.
