Benefits: For Institutions
Cost Savings
Membership in the Global E3 consortium provides a connection to 65+ elite engineering institutions. By signing one agreement with IIE, the consortium eliminates the need to manage multiple bilateral agreements with international universities, saving both time and resources to maintain agreements. The application system, student balances, advising, and placements are all maintained and processed by IIE.
Increased Student Exchange
Global E3 serves more than 300 students annually, increasing engineering student participation in international exchange opportunities for each of its members. In doing so, each campus sees increased enrollment of international students for non-degree study.
Networking and Professional Development
Global E3 is a network of leading engineering schools worldwide. Through the Annual Meeting, monthly webinars, and other networking events, members are given the opportunity to meet with partner schools and discuss trends in international engineering education. Members are also encouraged to form further partnerships with each other should the need arise.
