Children of GE Vernova Employees Scholarship

The GE Foundation established the GE STAR Awards program in 1984, and since then awarded over 15,000 awards worldwide, totaling more than $21.5 million.

In 2024, the newly established GE Vernova Foundation launched its own GE Vernova STAR Scholarships to provide competitive awards to children of eligible GE Vernova employees around the world. Last year, 50 scholarships were given across 13 countries, totaling more than $200,000. Scholarship recipients are chosen through a competitive selection process based on their academic record, extracurricular activities and community service, and personal experiences and goals as described in a written statement.

The GE Vernova STAR Scholarship is funded by the GE Vernova Foundation and administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE).
