Fully-Funded Graduate Study Opportunity at Khalifa University

Prospective International Master’s and Doctoral Students in the STEM fields are invited to apply

NEW YORK, April 2, 2019 – Khalifa University of Science and Technology (KU) will offer fully-funded graduate study opportunities to international students in the STEM fields through the Khalifa University International Graduate Student Program (KUIGSP). Eligible students may apply for admission to the university for fall 2019. KUIGSP is administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE).

KU offers talented students an unparalleled opportunity to pursue their discipline at a globally-ranked, research-intensive institution, while residing in a cosmopolitan city on the gleaming shores of the Arabian Gulf. Selected students will join KU’s vibrant community of students from more than 50 countries.

To support their studies, KUIGSP participants will receive comprehensive scholarships that cover all necessary educational expenses, including health insurance, annual airline tickets, and a generous monthly stipend, all funded by KU. KUIGSP participants will join a dynamic university breaking new ground in the STEM fields and research. The institution is dedicated to ensuring that students’ experiences are optimized while on campus. As students transition into their post-graduate career, they may enlist the support of KU’s Students Services department, designed to provide students with additional resources and support to best position themselves for a career in which they will thrive after completing their studies.

KU was founded in 2017, by the decree of UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, through a merger of the Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR), the Petroleum Institute University and Research Center (PI), and the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology (MI).

Today, the university offers 13 master’s degree and 12 PhD programs. KU features world-class research laboratories with 16 dedicated research centers, serving approximately 3,500 students, with nearly 370 international faculty, resulting in an excellent faculty to student ratio of 10 to 1.
