Open Doors 2019 Annual Data Release

The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and IIE released new findings from the Open Doors® Report on International Educational Exchange at a briefing on November 18, 2019. Experts presented data on international student enrollments in the United States during the 2018/19 academic year and U.S. students studying abroad during the 2017/18 academic year.

The briefing was held in conjunction with the worldwide observance of International Education Week and included a presentation of the data and an engaging conversation about trends in international educational exchange.
