Join this session to explore various tensions institutions are facing. From protests over sources of funding, cultural and political tensions, we will consider the complexities of conflict managing within university settings. We’ll delve into policies, decision-making processes, and real-world experiences, sharing both successes and failures in addressing conflict.
- Wednesday, September 18, 15:30 – 16:30 CEST EU–US exchanges in higher education: Barriers and opportunities (S4.08) with Jason Czyz
The transatlantic partnership in higher education is a robust and enduring alliance that features prominently in the European Union–United States policy agenda and is backed by deep ties between universities. However, in a world of global crises and increasing geopolitical tensions, we need even stronger transatlantic collaborations. This session will discuss the opportunities, enabling factors and hindering elements of transatlantic mobility and exchange of students, academics and researchers.
