Celebrating International Education Week

The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and IIE released new findings from the Open Doors® Report on International Educational Exchange at a briefing on November 13, 2018. Experts presented data on international student enrollments in the United States during the 2017/18 academic year and U.S. students studying abroad during the 2016/17 academic year. In addition, the results from the Fall 2018 joint online survey on international student enrollments were released.

The briefing was held in conjunction with the worldwide observance of International Education Week and included a presentation of the data and an engaging conversation about trends in international educational exchange.
