Three ways to transform lives through a DAF
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is like a charitable investment account that is set up for the sole purpose of supporting charities.
You can contribute cash, stocks, or other assets to the DAF and receive an immediate tax deduction. Those funds are invested for tax-free growth, and you may recommend donations to charities of your choice over time.
Simple, sustainable, and tax-efficient, your DAF can be designated for flexible funding or aligned with the IIE program that is meaningful to you.
There are three main benefits to giving through a DAF.
1. DAFs are simple to establish, flexible, have tax advantages, and typically require no minimum distribution.
2. DAFs make your philanthropic vision a reality by supporting IIE short- and long-term.
3. DAF contributions continue a tradition of giving through generations: Include your family and make important grant decisions together today and tomorrow.
