The Institute of International Education (IIE) was founded in 1919 on the belief that education makes the world a more just, equitable, and peaceful place. We deliver transformative opportunities in more than 180 countries to educate future leaders, place threatened artists and scholars in safety, aid international students during emergencies, and expand educational opportunities to displaced individuals worldwide.
For over a century, IIE has persevered through many emergencies, from protracted wars to global pandemics. Generous support from friends like you helps us rise to meet each challenge and ensure that access to educational exchange continues to reach as many people as possible. You can help.
