Mahboob Mahmood

Mahboob Mahmood is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Knowledge Platform. Established in 2000, Knowledge Platform is a leading Asian learning solutions company, with a presence in Singapore, China, India and Pakistan, and partners in the Philippines and Thailand. Knowledge Platform provides high impact, ‘next-generation’ learning solutions for the educational and corporate sector. Mr. Mahmood regularly speaks on, and designs solutions for, digital and blended learning, innovation and change management in education, teacher training, and learning content and technology development.

Between 2005 and 2011, Mr. Mahmood also served as Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise at INSEAD. Prior to establishing Knowledge Platform, he was a partner at the international law firm of Sidley Austin, where he handled corporate transactions in New York and Singapore for over fifteen years.

Mr. Mahmood received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law in 1986, Diploma in International and Comparative Law from Columbia University School of Law in 1986, M.A. in Political Science from The Johns Hopkins University in 1987, and B.A. in Politics from Princeton University in 1981. He has been a member of the New York State Bar since 1987.
