IIE Odyssey Scholarship
The IIE Odyssey Scholarship is a comprehensive scholarship for student refugees and displaced individuals. The scholarship covers tuition, housing and living expenses for students pursuing bachelor’s degrees or master’s degrees, as well as advising services, community support and practical resources they may need along their journey.
IIE offices in Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa and regional partner organizations nominate a slate of candidates through an annual selection process. These strong partner organizations are run by and serve refugees and displaced persons around the world and are most proximate to these populations and understand the needs, challenges, and what it takes to make a difference.
Mission
Through the IIE Odyssey Scholarship for higher education, we invest in the potential of motivated young adults uprooted by displacement to pursue their own unique paths and create thriving futures for themselves and their communities.
