Star Awards
Children of GE Aerospace Employees Program
The GE Foundation, now known as the GE Aerospace Foundation, established the program in 1984 to provide competitive awards to children of eligible GE employees around the world. Since then, over 15,000 awards have been given worldwide, totaling more than $21.5 million. Scholarship recipients are chosen through a competitive selection process based on their academic record, extracurricular activities and community service, and personal experiences and goals as described in a written statement.
The Star Awards program is fully funded by the GE Aerospace Foundation and administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE).
