As a Global E3 student, you will have the opportunity to apply for a semester or year-long exchange at one of our member institutions. Please note you must be currently enrolled in a member institution to apply. A few key components of the program include:

• Tuition: Global E3 students continue to pay tuition at their home institution, honoring any scholarship or financial aid agreement while attending a university abroad.
• Flexible Timing: Students can study abroad for the fall semester, spring semester, or the full academic year.
• Overseas Coursework: Attend an international institution and enroll in engineering coursework to fulfill degree requirements.
• Grow Your International Network: International experiences provide the opportunity for you to make connections that can be beneficial to your ongoing education and future career.
• Connection to IIE: By participating in the Global E3 program, you are eligible to take advantage of Institiute of International Education (IIE) alumni resources and networking opportunities. IIE is the leader in designing and implementing international education strategies and program services.

The importance of this unique program has been recognized by the National Science Foundation, AT&T Foundation, and the U.S. Department of Education, all of which provided the start-up funds for the program.
