What does IIE do?
An independent not-for-profit founded in 1919, IIE is among the world's largest and most experienced international education and training organizations. Committed to the exchange of people and ideas, we deliver program excellence to a diverse range of participants and donors as well as governments, foundations and private and corporate sponsors. To date, through our network of 19 offices worldwide, over 35,000 participants from 185 countries have been able to further their education through over 200 IIE administered programs.
What roles does IIE Mexico City play?
The Mexico City office was established in 1974 and serves as IIE's regional center for Latin America. Aligned with our global mission our sponsored programs provide access to educational opportunities for talented students and targeted training programs for current and future leaders to build practical and professional skills vital to the region’s economic growth and focused on local social and technical needs. In addition, we provide academic assessment services to facilitate access to international education opportunities including tests from the TOEFL family and other high stakes exams.
Our office is also home to the Regional Educational Advising Coordinator (REAC) for EducationUSA in North America (Mexico & Canada), Central America and the Caribbean.
