IIE President and CEO Allan Goodman Honored by the University of South Florida

May 8, 2010—On May 8, Dr. Allan E. Goodman, President and CEO of the Institute of International Education, accepted the President's Global Leadership Award from the University of South Florida. The award, presented during the university's commencement ceremony in Tampa, FL, recognizes Dr. Goodman for his extraordinary contributions to global citizenship, education and international training programs throughout the world. The University of South Florida honored Dr. Goodman with the award for his extensive knowledge of international affairs, teachings on diplomatic training programs and administration of the world renowned Fulbright program as one of the premier leaders in international education.

Karen Holbrook, the Vice President for Research and Innovation at the University of South Florida and a Member of the Board of Trustees at IIE, presented Dr. Goodman with the award.
