2014 T&T NGO Professionals Conference
Fund Development: A Key Strategy for Building Sustainable NGOs
The Institute of International Education, in partnership with Veni Apwann is proud to host the 2014 T&T NGO Professionals Conference on May 14th and May15th at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad. The conference is funded by the JB Fernandes Memorial Trust in partnership with Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors.

The 2014 Conference will bring together more than 100 professionals from NGOs, civil society, community based and faith-based organizations in Trinidad and Tobago to network, share challenges and best practices in nonprofit management, and hear from experts on how to create a plan for strategic fund development.
NGO professionals attending the 2014 Conference will engage in dynamic conference sessions, plenaries, breakouts and unique networking opportunities with civil society peers and donors.

Conference sessions and breakouts will focus on helping organizations:

  • Develop strategic funding plans
  • Identify suitable funding opportunities
  • Craft successful grant proposals
  • Learn how to build strong relationships with funders

In addition, the conference also will explore four areas of nonprofit management that are critical for organizations to successfully raise funds:

  • Financial Management                        
  • Accountability & Transparency
  • Public Relations Outreach
  • Program Evaluation

The 2014 T&T NGO Professionals Conference registration fee includes conference workshops, daily coffee breaks, luncheons and entry to the JB Fernandes Award for NGO Excellence award ceremony. Registration is by person and there’s a limit of TWO representatives per organization.

THERE WILL BE NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION. You must register in advance for the conference and payment must be received by April 30, 2014.

Please note, spaces will be limited. Conference Registration is open until April 30th or until all slots are full. The registration deadline will not be extended.

Registration Fee: $300 TT

Sessions: The 2014 conference will focus on helping organizations identify suitable funding opportunities, craft successful grant proposals and build strong relationships with funders.
