Giving from your estate can offer a unique opportunity to make a significant and lasting support to IIE that fulfills your charitable goals and also provides financial and tax advantages. You can help to secure the future of the Institute by making a gift through a bequest or other type of planned gift. Planned gifts may be unrestricted or can be directed to strengthen any area.
Bequest by Will or Trust
Including a charitable bequest to IIE in your will or trust is an easy way to make a lasting gift to international education and make a difference for future generations. Common types of gifts by bequest are:
A specific amount or specific property
A percentage of your estate’s value
The remainder of your estate, or a percentage of it, after distributions to other beneficiaries
A gift contingent on certain events, such as having no living heirs
Please contact us if you would like sample language for a bequest.
We’ll gladly work with you and your financial advisor to help you make a gift through a bequest or other type of planned gift, including gifts of retirement assets, gifts that pay life income to one or more individuals, and gifts of insurance policies.
The 1919 Society honors those individuals who have included a charitable gift to IIE in their estate plans. We gratefully acknowledge the alumni, Trustees and donors of the Society for their foresight and leadership in creating an enduring legacy for the Institute.
If you wish to include IIE in your estate plan or have already done so, please notify us so that we can welcome you as a member of the 1919 Society. The details of your gift will be kept confidential, and you are welcome to decline public recognition.
