Program Officer, Membership and Higher Education Services
To assist the Senior Program Manager in launching IIE’s Center for Global Academic Partnership and implementing the International Academic Partnerships Program; assist in conducting outreach for the Center and developing Center materials; assist in managing domestic study tours for international delegations and support program manager in planning international study tours for delegations of U.S. educators; provide support on research activities including researching, writing and/or editing reports and policy papers; manage the editorial and production process of the online and print Funding for US Study directory; develop PowerPoint presentations; and provide ongoing support to the Membership and Higher Education Services Office.
Temporary Web Content Manager
The Institute of International Education (IIE) is looking to hire several individuals to work together in editing, formatting and moving content onto a new Sitecore Content Management System (CMS) in preparation for the relaunch of IIE’s website. With supervision from the Web Project Manager and Web Content Producer, these temporary content managers will move a large quantity of content that has been assembled on Excel spreadsheets into the new CMS. They will be responsible for some page design using a rich text editor based on specific design templates and CSS specifications that have been developed for the new site, and will also assist in QA/proofing the pages on the new site prior to launch. The position requires a full-time commitment over six weeks between December 7th and January 15th, or approximately 25 working days (excluding holidays) on-site at IIE’s New York office. Content Managers will make extensive use of Excel, a web-based production environment for content entry, and the CMS interface to prepare content for a mid-January launch. Individuals who are selected for these positions will receive basic training on the new IIE.org Sitecore-based site, as well as on specific procedures necessary to move over the content.
Executive Assitant to the Chief Financial Officer
Provides primary administrative support to the CFO and tertiary support to NY-based finance team. Provides calendar management as well as travel; coordinates and assists in preparation of board materials and supports the maintenance of departmental files.
Senior Program Officer, OVP/Student Exchages
Manage the organizational, technical and administrative aspects of the Fulbright Student Outreach initiative; including marketing, publicity and outreach to targeted audiences. Increase and maintain public understanding of the value and importance of Fulbright, while positioning the Fulbright Student Program to attract a diverse pool of potential applicants. Manage Fulbright Alumni Ambassadors Program, funded by the IIE Board of Trustees and Department of State.
Assistant Director, North East Student Services
Oversees supervision and monitoring services to Fulbright grantees attending academic institutions in the Northeast region of the U.S., and Fulbright grantees from Pakistan and other special Fulbright programs. Implements procedures to ensure that sponsor contracts, immigration policy and academic requirements are fulfilled and that grantee problems are resolved effectively. Maintains effective working relations with personnel at universities in the region and national international education organizations. Works with Fulbright management staff on the implementation of policy as it affects individual student cases.

Administrative Assistant
To provide strong, dependable administrative assistance and support to the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director; to assist in the supervision of an administrative coordinator; to coordinate schedule and commitments; to anticipate people and situations; to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the office; to coordinate a wide variety of administrative and clerical details; to keep records for the executive office of CIES including board materials, meeting minutes and other relevant materials; to be a member of the CIES executive team assuming work responsibilities and assignments in support of the executive director and in collaboration with other offices within CIES/IIE as needed.

Program Associate II, International Exchange Programs, Houston
The Program Associate II works as part of a close team (Program Managers and office Director) to administer the international scholarship exchange programs for students from around the world, including the Middle East/North Africa region, Indonesia and Russia. The position provides administrative support for the overall management of the programs, and assists with scholar selection processes, reporting, event planning, immigration compliance, outreach and online scholarship application of existing and newly established programs.
Primarily, the Program Associate II will be responsible for organizing and maintaining immigration and academic files (both electronic and paper) on all students, paying tuition invoices and building rapport with university billing offices, preparing student progress reports, processing applications and meeting preparation. The position may assist with the website, financial reporting, and correspondence with the students.
Director, Vietnam Office
Responsible for the overall management and supervision of IIE’s Vietnam offices, including: coordination of EducationUSA educational advising services for the country; management of existing scholarship, fellowship and training projects; implementation of IIE US higher education fairs; lead sales, marketing and representation of Educational Testing Service (ETS) products; provide strategic direction to the office and staff; management of the office’s finances and administration; and development of new programs. All of these activities will be undertaken in close collaboration with partners and sponsors, particularly the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Mission to Vietnam and Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).
Regional Educational Advising Coordinator, Southeast Asia
The Regional Educational Advising Coordinator (REAC) Program is designed to foster international student mobility between the United States and the rest of the world through the EducationUSA network. The REAC fosters student mobility between the United States and Southeast Asia working with the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs to oversee and support a regional network of advising centers. REACs act as a resource on educational systems and exchanges; provide assessment, direction, training and quality control of EducationUSA advising centers; and develop and promote the EducationUSA network.
