Since the founding of the Institute in 1919, people from virtually every corner of the globe have participated in programs designed, developed or administered by the Institute. These alumni have changed the world, including the more than 60 who have won the Nobel Prize. They are leading scientists, accomplished composers and musicians, renowned artists and novelists, business leaders and entrepreneurs, educators, human rights activists and grass roots leaders, among others.
