IIE president Allan Goodman presents testimony on student visas to the House Subcommittee on Research and Science Education
IIE President and CEO Allan Goodman was invited to present testimony to the House Science and Technology Committee's Subcommittee on Research and Science Education hearing on February 7, 2008, regarding the visa process for foreign science and engineering students and scholars. This was the first in a series of hearings on how to strengthen science diplomacy efforts in the United States, in an effort to examine the role that the federal government can and should play in fostering international scientific cooperation and collaboration.
